Sprucing up the Yard Recap - from spray paint to a fire pit - June 2013

We have been working outdoors a lot recently.. and I decided to have a recap of the projects
we have accomplished during the month of June.   There have been some tiny changes such as a quick makeover with spray paint, as well as a bigger project like our new Fire Pit.

First up, I gave my front door wreath a quick Wreath Makeover using spray paint and a gold sharpie.

I also gave our Garden Bench a whole new look..

I used a plastic Horseshoe Set to create an art display on the side of our little outbuilding.

Isn't is amazing that just something as simple as using spray paint can change the entire look of so many things.. even the smallest of accents can have a whole new life by just changing the color.. like these  Small Plant Picks:

Our big outdoor project this month was our new DIY Fire Pit.. which we have certainly been enjoying, and the cost was zero.  We actually had everything on hand that we used for this project.

and finally my DIY Tall Solar Lights that I wanted to add to our Fire Pit space.. I am so pleased with how these turned out! (and they cost less than $2.00 each)

There ya have it..  a quick recap of some of our projects for the month.  I included links so you can check out the actual posts if you'd like to see them in more detail.

So have you been working on any outdoor projects lately?
