Bathroom makeover begins..

I decided to give my daughters bathroom (aka: guest bathroom) a new look.

So I have been working on it the past few days on/off...
Here is the before:

After emptying the room, I painted it a pretty shade of gray.
Then I went with a textured fabric gray shower curtain, and coordinating rugs that
I already had.
So now to the final part of this project, debating on the accessories
and pulling it all together.

I know it is hard to tell in the photo, (I used a different camera/lens for this picture)
but it is actually brighter in this room now, which is nice because this room doesn't
have a window.

So right now I am in decision mode.

I placed a bright turquoise towel next to the gray one to see how that would look
with the gray.
I know I want to add in another color here and there.
Currently, I am leaning towards adding white to brighten it up even more,
and then small amounts of a pop of color.

As soon as I make up my mind, I will be able to complete the room.
Decisions, decisions.... :0)

  2. Tina, I love what you are doing with the bathroom!!! This is so uncanny. We did a bathroom makeover four years ago. Our theme was 'Americana', obviously using red, white and blue with stars. Our new makeover is gray with white trim (just like yours) and a new black & white tile floor. We found a beautiful gray and white fabric shower curtain that we hung on a new curved rod. That really opens up the shower space in a small bathroom! Right now, we have a deep red for pops of color but we're going to change over to a deep purple. That color looks really good with the gray & white. Have fun choosing colors :)
