DIY a Christmas Decorator Pillow on the cheap

I am in Christmas decorating mode in our home!
Loving all the pretty decor I have been seeing in the stores this year and
the fun and beautiful decorator pillows..
However as a DIY gal I ran across some really cute printed kitchen towels and
had a thought.. that would make a cute pillow!

So I bought 2 of these adorable Christmas Tree hauling truck towels and
brought them home for my project pile.

I got out my sewing machine last night and got to work.
(I  have a brother se-350 - similar sewing machine found Here )

I simply folded the towel in half, then got stitching.

When I got to the last side I just left a gap about 5" long so that I could easily turn it
right side out.

and then got my poly-fill and proceeded to stuff it..

After I had it full of stuffing, I used a needle and thread and stitched it up by hand
the rest of the way.

That was it..

Easy, Peasy.. and this project took around 15 minutes at the most and part of that
was getting  my sewing machine set up and ready to go. :0)

And the cost..? Well, I paid $1.00 for the towel itself, and already had the stuffing
so.. for $1.00 I  have a unique and fun Christmas decorator style pillow!

Gotta love those kind of projects.
