Well, my post title probably just gave it away huh? (spoiler alert!)
I shared about my recent candelabra find in yesterdays post.. (see it HERE)
Now it is time to share the new and improved candelabra.
So once again, here is the before:
Not bad.. it actually was a nice shade of sage green.
However, I had something else in mind for this piece.
So I wiped it all down with a damp cloth to prep it for paint,
and as you already figured out.. got out my silver metallic spray paint.
Have you noticed the stores are playing Christmas music already? It certainly
caught my attention the other day.. ha!
And speaking of Christmas..
I went ahead and spruced it up for the holidays by adding burgundy candles, and a variety of Christmas silk florals.
It's a beauty!
Now I have to decide if I am using it as our centerpiece for our tablescape, or the one I originally
intended to use.. or where else to put it in the house.. or if I should add it to the etsy shop. Decisions, decisions.. I am leaning towards using this one as our centerpiece and adding some small candles on each side. We will see... if you are like me, it can change several times between now
and then. Am I right? :0)
Have a wonderful day!

Your candleabra is so pretty...the silver is perfect! I was in Michael's last weekend and Christmas music was playing...it gets earlier every year. I have been watching Christmas movies already on Hallmark and Lifetime too....one of my guilty pleasures! Have a lovely Friday!

It looks great. I also like it in both colors.
ReplyDeleteOh it really is a stunner. Love it. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThe silver paint totally changed the look, it's very pretty. I don't consider myself very crafty but I love using spray paint to to give old items a facelift. God Bless the sweet soul that invented it!
