Simple Fall Decor Around the House 2018

I thought I would share some of our fall decor from around the house
with you today.

I went pretty simple this year.
Adding some inexpensive single fall leaves that I picked up,
and for the most part I just used what I already had collected over the years.

I think one of my favorite decor pieces that I have purchased is this red truck..
I have had it for a little over a year and I really enjoy changing up the decor for the seasons with it.
It is especially adorable in the Fall with pine cones and pumpkins but for the upcoming Christmas holiday it will be filled with lighted bottle brush tree's and I will change up the surroundings.. so exited. :0)

This is one of the few items that I added to my fall decor this year.  I just couldn't resist this
handmade pumpkin that I found at a cute little shop, so fun with the rope detail.

The "Fall" wood blocks were a simple project I did just using a 2x4, a few tools,
and some scrapbook paper and modge podge.
Cute and inexpensive.

I actually have several fall accents here and there, mini pumpkins are another
inexpensive and fun addition for simple fall decor.
I think I got a bag of of 5 for just a few bucks at the grocery store and they last quite a while
and seriously, how stinkin cute?

We have a bit of a country farm flair I would say in our home. :0)

My double horseshoes are actually a set of bookends that my son made for me in school.
I absolutely love them, here I just put them together to turn them into
a candle holder on an antique dresser.
The dresser could use a little sprucing up, but honestly I love it the way it is.

For a simple fall touch in this space, I just added a small vase of fall florals.
Easy peasy.
(did I just use the phrase easy peasy?)

I like adding in florals if you haven't noticed. Lol.

Had to accent with some black and white buffalo plaid ribbon.. of course. 😉

Because it goes so great with my new throws.

Can I just say I love my lanterns.. can you tell?

They are all on timers and come on in the evening.. so warm and inviting and just
makes ya smile when they light up.
(They flicker and move and look so real when they are lit up in the evening, I am huge
fan of luminara lanterns)

Simple touches like an inexpensive swag of fall leaves can instantly add a simple fall touch
and it is just so easy to do.

If you'd like to see how I decorated the outdoors for fall ~ you can check it out here.

I will add details for a few of the items below as well in case you would like to check
anything out.

It is my 24 year anniversary this weekend.. man time flies! :0)

Blessings!
