Fun Budget Friendly Dollar Store DIY Christmas Decor Projects

Good Morning!
Today I thought I would share several different diy projects that I have been working on for the upcoming Christmas season! (8 projects, errr 7) 😜

The first project I worked on was a fun decorative pillow.

I ran across a really pretty table placemat at Dollar General, but they only had 2.

Since they didn't have enough to purchase to use for our
table I chose to simply buy one and turn it into a pillow for our sofa.

I used a fat quarter of red and black buffalo check fabric as the back of my pillow, so just a little bit of time and my sewing machine and some stuffing and we have a fun new pillow.
I love how it turned out.

Another project I worked on was using a photo frame and a Christmas ornament from dollar tree.

I used a 5 x 7 picture frame, some buffalo check scrapbook paper, a fun vintage truck ornament,
and added a pretty little bow.
A little bit of hot glue and I had a fun decor item for the fast approaching Christmas
holiday season.

How is it almost November?!?

The next project I worked on was a fun little gnome idea I had in mind.

I deconstructed a bell ornament to use as the base, used some of the leftover fabric, some other odd items, and I think it turned out adorable.. even if it was a bit of a mess.
(check out the video for all the details on how I made each of these projects)

One of the easiest things I made was a snowman candle holder.
I used a glass globe, a battery powered tea light candle holder, and some puffy paint.

How cute is that for a fun winter decorative accent.

For something similar I made a cute snowman ornament with some puff paint, faux snow, some pretty ribbon and a snowflake accent.

I had purchased some fun little miniatures at dollar tree of a camper and a vintage truck so I wanted to use those.

For this one I used a jar style plastic ornament from dollar tree and I added some 'faux snow' the little camper miniature, a miniature bottle brush tree, and I embellished it with a pretty bow and jingle bell.

The vintage truck was a bit too big for this style of ornament so I chose to use a diy snow globe which I had also picked up at dollar tree.

I added it to the insert along with a mini bottle brush tree, some hot glue and faux snow in different area's and finished it off with some jute string and a jingle bell.

Now I know that is actually 7 projects,
#8 was a bit of a miss, however it did still turn out cute in its own way, lol
so if you want to see project #8 I went ahead and shared it in my video.

To see in detail how I made each of these projects the video is on my youtube channel here!

Blessings,
-Tina
