Good Morning,
Today I am sharing a furniture update!
Here is a look at the before:
I took the table outside and started by trying to remove 2 of the legs.. this part of the project didn't exactly go as planned (shared in the video) but it worked out in the end so that is fine with me. lol.
The next thing I did was sand the table top to prepare it for paint.
I had thought about leaving the legs alone and only painting the top, but I ended up choosing to paint them white and then distress them using some sandpaper.
I am loving how the table turned out. It fits perfectly near the back door and I am loving having that slim profile table as an extra space that I can decorate but it doesn't actually take up much space at all.

Then I measured the table top to the size I wanted, and I used my circular saw to cut it down to size.
Then I simply used screws to attach the legs back onto my much smaller sized table.
At first I painted the top a pretty shade of gray, but I didn't really like it on the table so I chose to paint the top black.
I chose to decorate it with a small galvanized tray, and a vase of flowers from my garden.
Since I did a lot of the project outside, I thought it would be fun to include some pictures of what was looking pretty in my garden. So I included pictures from around my yard in the video as well.
Here are a few of them:
If you'd like to see more details on how the table project went, I have the corresponding video linked below and it is on my YouTube Channel Here if you would rather watch it there.
(and if you haven't subscribed to my youtube channel, you can do so here if you like (it's free) I usually post video's every week, and have bonus video's every so often as well)
Have a blessed day!
