Good Morning!
Today I am sharing several diy projects that I worked on using budget friendly items.
(most of which were from dollar tree)
The first project I worked on was using this fun candle holder from dollar tree..
I actually bought 2 of these and chose to keep one as is and change one of them up a bit.
I wish I would've gotten more of these!
I took the gold top off of the concrete base and took it outside to give it a coat of spray paint.
And I chose to add some chunky wood feet to the base of it using hot glue.
So fun!
I wasn't quite sure how I was going to use these in my home so I tried out a few different configurations until I made up my mind.
I knew a jewelry stand was one way I wanted to use it.
So I tried it out as is with the gold top.. pretty!
I think this is a fun idea as well.
The way I chose to use it however is the plain base with the mint green top sitting on a mint green cupcake stand.
So pretty!
For the next project I used a glass cutting board with a fun vintage truck print.
(also from dollar tree)
I love the color scheme and print on this one!
I thought it would make a fun display stand.
So I simply used e6000 and glued a glass candlestick to the bottom of the cutting board.
For the next project I wanted to create a fun tray to display some pretty glass hobnail candles that I had purchased.
I decided to use a wood sign that I had purchased and remove the hanger and staples from the back.
(The hot glue is to basically hold the pulls in place while the e6000 has a chance to dry/cure)
(dollar tree)
I used 2 clear glass candlestick holders and some pretty gem mesh ribbon and using tacky glue I attached the ribbon around the top of each candlestick.
Then I used e6000 to attach the votive holders to the candlesticks.
I think these will add a fun pop of color wherever I decide to put them in our home.
