Friday Favorites (7/19/13)

Is it me or did this week go by quickly.. really quickly.

I have been extremely busy this week, so that may be why it went so fast.

Lots of projects, and working on some last minute things that need to be done in preparation
for our son moving off to college.  Just a few days to go.. sniff sniff  :o(

I am so proud of him and the young man that He is.. and I am excited for him too..
However, it will be hard getting use to him living a couple of hours away.
(but at least it is only a couple hours)  :0)

On to the Friday Favorites.

#1).   My DIY Dog (or cat) Bed that I made using a old drawer..  So adorable!

#2).   My Garden is giving us a lot of tomatoes.. Yay!

#3).   My DIY Welcome Post that I made using items we had.. love.

#4).   Home made pizza.. yum!

#5).   I also made Home made Cinnamon rolls.. double yum. :0)

Have a great weekend all..

  1. Love the "Welcome" sign. So cute! Please don't put any more pics of cinnamon rolls up. I think I just gained 2 lbs looking at the pic. Just Kidding. :-) Have a good weekend!

  2. It's Friday.....time for a fun weekend and some down time! sounds like you had a productive week! Your pizza and cinnamon rolls look yummy! It's hard letting go of our babies...even though my son is staying home for college, I know what you're going through. My daughter moved two hours away for college, and is staying there. She has much more opportunity there so I understand but it's hard sometimes. Praying you handle the transition well....:) And at least it's only 2 hours away. You can visit often....:)

    Blessings, Vicky

    1. Thank you for your prayers Vicky, they are much appreciated!

It is becoming a little more 'real' this week, since He will be moving out within the next few days.

I am excited for Him though.. He has such an amazing future ahead of him and definitely a lot more opportunity for him to pursue his goals there.

Thank you again, means a lot to me!
