Old Canning Pot turned into garden accessories...

I recently updated a small area of the backyard near one of the outbuildings
using items that we had on hand for the most part...



Including my old canning pot..
which I used as a flower pot by simply drilling some drainage holes
into the bottom of it, adding dirt, and flowers.

Sometimes a simple project can be some of the best.

    I tell you TIna...we have so much in common! I had a pot with a plant in it just like this one that was my Granny Willie Mae's. The bottom rusted out finally, but I had it for years. She has been gone for 27 years and no telling how long she had it before I inherited it. Such sweet memories. Yours is perfect and I love the idea of using the lid for a birdbath! That was genius...:) It looks beautiful. Enjoy...:)
