Inexpensive Christmas Tree Skirt - Buffalo Plaid

I am in Christmas decorating mode around here and I have decided
go a little farmhouse buffalo plaid theme with my
pretty flocked tree this year.

So naturally I wanted a tree skirt to coordinate with the buffalo plaid
print, and in shopping online for one they just seemed quite pricey
in my opinion.

Well, I had a throw nearby and decided why not?

So I took one of my throws and tucked it around the bottom of the tree and stood back
to take a look at it.  Then I adjusted it some more, and checked it out again and waaahlaaa.

An inexpensive buffalo check plaid Christmas Tree skirt.

(This throw was $15.99 and can be found here
the buffalo check ribbon can be found at your local craft store or: here.)

I am loving how my tree is turning out so far, in fact I like it just the way
it is with simple ribbon weaved and scrunched throughout the branches,
and the throw and thats it...  So pretty.

Of course I have several other things in mind for it though,
so on to the next project. :o)
