Grocery Haul & Keto/Low Carb Meal Plan for the Week

Let me start by saying that we had gotten off track.
We had several things going on.. we went out of town, spent some time with our kids, celebrated my birthday, and went to one of our favorite restaurants and so on.. and so we were basically in on/off keto mode and I am ok with that.  I felt like it was worth it to not stress over the food and we made some great memories.
(Everyone of course has to make their own decisions on that and what is ok
for them.)

Well I wanted to get back to it so I looked back at previous meal plans that I had made
and grocery shopping went from there.

I find it is nice to hang on to meal plans so you can look back at them from time to time if you are in a hurry to come up with something or just need some idea's. 😉



So I got my general plan figured out then I made my shopping list.
For this week we had purchased items from Aldi as well as Walmart.



My general plan for the week:

Breakfast:
Keto Coffee (with or w/out the following):
Scrambled Eggs (x2)
Eggs (muffin style) (video here)
Breakfast Burrito's
Bacon/Eggs
Leftovers

Lunch:
Cheeseburger (no bun) with grilled zucchini
Wraps (x 2)
Zoodles w/ marinara
Taco Salad
Grilled Chicken w/ a salad
Leftovers

Dinner:
Porkchops w/ Salad
Taco Salad
Smoked Sausage Stirfry w/ veggies (bell peppers/squash)
Chicken Quesadilla's
Keto Chili
Leftovers

I will change this as we go and we will have salad with several meals,
or some sort of veggie.
So that is my basic meal plan for the week.




I am also working on a personal goal that I have set for myself.. to drink more water!
I could seriously drink coffee all day.. and I am trying to make better decisions so I am
working on the water. :0) (therefore working on cutting back on the coffee)

I have been searching for a new water bottle for some time now.. one that I can
dedicate for that purpose alone.

My requirement is that the lid/straw/spout is covered and after a while of searching I finally
found one!



So far I am really liking it.
It has a button that opens the spout and you simply push it shut, and it is covered.
There is a lock feature so if it is in your bag etc.. it won't accidentally open.  You can clip
it on to things if you need to and leak proof!

I mostly want to be able to take it outside with me as I work in the yard without it getting yuck,
as well carry it around the house and when I go to town.  Basically trying to make it a habit to carry water with me pretty much at all times so I will reach for it instead of something while out and about.
(coffee perhaps) :0)

So I am curious do you always plan ahead for your meals?
