Cluttered CorkBoard

I am working on decorating for Fall and I wanted to come up with a new
Fall decor item with a little Farmhouse style to it.

This is a really simple and budget friendly project.
I actually had everything on hand, it only took a few minutes
to make, and I am so happy with how it turned out!

Don't you just love those kind of projects?! 👊




For this project I used a 8"x 10" picture frame that I had, a piece of decorative
scrapbook paper, paint, and a paintbrush.

I simply placed my decorative paper into the frame to use it as a background.

I love the black and white buffalo check and since I have coordinating pieces in my home
I knew it would be perfect!

Then using paint I painted a simple pumpkin design onto the glass.





I wanted the pumpkin to be mostly white, but I did use just a hint of orange, and some black.

Most of my decor is in the traditional fall colors (oranges etc.) and I really want to add
some white and lighter colors to work more of a farmhouse feel into the mix.

I am really loving all the whites, rust colors, and lighter foliage options that I have been seeing
in pictures lately.  I haven't purchased any fall decorations yet this year, but
those are the ones I will be keeping an eye out for and seeing what I can find to add
to my fall decor stash.




The pumpkin picture turned out so cute! I am loving it on this side table..
it really goes well with the buffalo check throws I have in my living room.





Such a simple project that really adds a fun touch to my Fall decor.

I kind of want to pick up some silver or gold paint and add a metallic leaf to the
pumpkin.. so I may have to do that soon. 😉

Something else that is fun about this project is with the paints I used after the
fall decorating season I could actually scrub the paint off and change it up for
Christmas.  I could paint a Christmas Tree, or Nativity scene, or I could just revert it
back to using it as a regular picture frame if I want to.. most likely I will keep
it the way it is though.
