DIY Updating a Dollar Tree Find for Fall into a Wreath Option | Wreath Idea #2

I have been enjoying the fall temperatures we have been getting.🍂🍁
It is suppose to get pretty cold this weekend.. not quite ready for that yet.
I have been working in my flowerbeds and trying to get them in order for
the cold weather that is quickly approaching.

I have also been working on a few more Fall decor idea's.
Today I am sharing how I am using a dollar tree item and updating it into a
unique wreath option.

I picked up this cute pumpkin shaped sign at Dollar Tree and knew I wanted to use the
gold glitter outline as a wreath form.

So I started by cutting the string that held the center portion in place and removing
that.

Then I used some floral picks and a pinecone and hot glued them onto one of the lower corners.

I chose to add a pretty plaid bow to the top.
(no buffalo check - can you believe it!?! lol)

I thought this ribbon went perfectly with the gold glittered pumpkin.
I used a wooden orange glittered pumpkin as the center of my bow and just used some hot
glue to secure it in place.

(Ribbon and Wood pumpkin stickers were also purchased at Dollar Tree)

I chose to use one of the larger wooden pumpkin stickers on the other corner, and I added a bow that I made with some jute string to dress it up a little more.

I wanted to add a Thankful metal sign that I also found at dollar tree,
but I wanted to change it up a bit.
So I dry brushed some orange paint over it, and after looking at it on my 'wreath' I chose
to add some white as well.

So cute!

I didn't have a plan when I started this project except that I wanted to use the gold glitter portion
of the sign as a wreath form.
I just had some random fall items to pick and choose from as I went along and I think
it ended up working out well in the end!

This 'wreath' will need to stay indoors or in a well protected area, as it isn't made
to hold up to different weather conditions so I will be keeping this one inside.

Such a fun addition to tuck in to my fall decor somewhere.
(Budget Friendly as well)
I think it might be fun tucked into a bookshelf or sitting/leaning on top of a side table
with other decor, or a unique touch with a bit of whimsy hanging on my craft room door.

I hope it gives you some idea's and/or inspiration for using items differently or changing
them up in a creative way.

(*If you'd like to see in better detail on how I made this "wreath", I did make a video.
You can see it here on my youtube channel if you'd like
